Founded by Carlo Dapino, Securyze was created from a career that began in 2001, when cybersecurity was still taking shape and many practitioners were learning by building, breaking, and securing the systems they had just created.

Carlo’s first major challenge was protecting one of the earliest online banking gateways, at a time when server-side programming was still immature and every configuration decision carried real security risk. That experience shaped the foundations of Securyze.io: practical security, technical depth, and a clear understanding that architecture, operations, and business risk cannot be treated separately.

Over the following two decades, Carlo worked across finance, industry, and consulting, leading security programs, designing complex infrastructures, and guiding executive teams through digital transformation. His work has supported organizations modernizing architectures, automating delivery pipelines, strengthening monitoring and response capabilities, and translating security requirements into practical roadmaps.

A significant part of Carlo’s career was dedicated to protecting global financial institutions, where he contributed to some of Europe’s largest digital and cloud transformation initiatives. In those environments, he helped connect regulatory expectations, technical constraints, operational realities, and executive priorities into measurable security outcomes.

Securyze.io was later shaped by Carlo’s broader experience across telecommunications, manufacturing, retail, transport, energy, and technology research and development. This expanded focus brought particular attention to the convergence of IT, OT, Data, and AI security, especially in industrial and transformation-heavy environments where security must support resilience, not slow progress.

The company reflects Carlo’s continuous technical learning, combined with business fluency, board-level communication, and the discipline to link strategy, architecture, and leadership into one coherent security vision.
