Carlo’s first major challenge was protecting one of the earliest online banking gateways, at a time when server-side programming was still immature and every configuration decision carried real security risk. That experience shaped the foundations of Securyze.io: practical security, technical depth, and a clear understanding that architecture, operations, and business risk cannot be treated separately.
Over the following two decades, Carlo worked across finance, industry, and consulting, leading security programs, designing complex infrastructures, and guiding executive teams through digital transformation. His work has supported organizations modernizing architectures, automating delivery pipelines, strengthening monitoring and response capabilities, and translating security requirements into practical roadmaps.
A significant part of Carlo’s career was dedicated to protecting global financial institutions, where he contributed to some of Europe’s largest digital and cloud transformation initiatives. In those environments, he helped connect regulatory expectations, technical constraints, operational realities, and executive priorities into measurable security outcomes.
Securyze.io was later shaped by Carlo’s broader experience across telecommunications, manufacturing, retail, transport, energy, and technology research and development. This expanded focus brought particular attention to the convergence of IT, OT, Data, and AI security, especially in industrial and transformation-heavy environments where security must support resilience, not slow progress.
The company reflects Carlo’s continuous technical learning, combined with business fluency, board-level communication, and the discipline to link strategy, architecture, and leadership into one coherent security vision.
Today, Securyze Limited advises organizations that want to evolve their security posture with practical strategies aligned to technology, process, and people. After 25 years in cybersecurity, Carlo remains driven by the same curiosity that started it all: connecting dots across complex systems, identifying emerging risks, and shaping modern, resilient defenses that make sense to both engineers and executives.
Why Securyze
_____________________
Security silos no longer fit modern environments. Securyze connects offensive and defensive thinking, architecture, operations, and executive priorities.
Instead of forcing projects into generic templates, Securyze adapts deliverables to the specific organization, architecture, and problem.
Experience across continents, virtual teams, and follow-the-sun operations supports collaboration across cultures and business functions.
Industrial security now sits at the intersection of enterprise IT, operational technology, and AI-enabled systems. Purdue-context thinking, data diode design, Industry 4.0, and IT-OT-AI convergence require experience across all three worlds.
Security product lifecycle, vulnerability management, roadmaps, and R&D constraints provide a deeper view of security controls and product reality.
Securyze keeps exploring emerging weaknesses, AI protocol risks, Cloud Security Alliance working-group activity, and active industry contribution.
